Landliebe is a well-known German dairy brand that has long been associated with traditional farming and natural quality. Founded in 1980 by Südmilch AG, the brand quickly became a household name across Europe, particularly in Germany and the Netherlands, for its range of yoghurts, puddings, and milk products. Initially, the brand focused on conveying a sense of rural authenticity.
Over the decades, ownership shifted as the European dairy market consolidated. Landliebe was part of the Campina portfolio, which later merged to become FrieslandCampina. However, in 2023, a significant acquisition took place where the Müller Group (Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller) took over the Landliebe brand along with several production sites from FrieslandCampina. Today, Landliebe is managed as a premium brand under the Müller umbrella, continuing its legacy of high-quality dairy production across multiple European facilities.
