Originally designed by Werner Stoff for Hans Nagel in the 1960s, the candle holder was first produced by the Nagel company in Cologne, Germany. After falling out of production for decades, the brand was relaunched by the Danish design company STOFF Copenhagen. While the design remains true to its German heritage, contemporary production is carried out in China to meet global distribution needs.
