Medion laptop

Medion is a German consumer electronics brand that has long been a staple in European supermarkets, particularly known for its association with the retailer Aldi. Originally founded in Essen, Germany, the company gained popularity by offering affordable personal computers, laptops, and multimedia devices.

In 2011, the brand's ownership shifted significantly when the Chinese multinational technology giant Lenovo acquired a majority stake in Medion AG. This partnership allowed Medion to leverage Lenovo's vast global supply chain and manufacturing capabilities while maintaining its brand identity and market position in German-speaking regions. Today, while the design and marketing are heavily focused on the European market, the actual manufacturing of the laptops primarily takes place in China through Lenovo's production facilities.
