BKI Ground Coffee

BKI Coffee (Brasil Kaffe Import) is a prominent Danish coffee brand with a history dating back to 1960. Founded by Svend Hansen in Aarhus, the company began by importing quality beans directly from Brazil to provide high-quality coffee at competitive prices to Danish consumers.

To this day, the brand maintains its headquarters and primary production facilities in Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark. This local roasting facility ensures that the coffee is processed and packaged under strict quality controls before being distributed throughout Scandinavia. The ownership remains firmly in Danish hands, as BKI is still owned and operated by the founding Hansen family through their investment holding structure, making it one of the few large-scale independent coffee roasters remaining in Denmark.
