Haval Vehicles

Haval is a globally recognized automotive marque specializing in SUVs and crossovers. Launched in 2013 as a dedicated sub-brand, it has quickly become a cornerstone of the Chinese automotive industry's international expansion. The brand is renowned for its focus on combining advanced technology with competitive pricing, targeting a wide range of consumers from urban commuters to off-road enthusiasts.

While the heart of Haval's production remains in China, specifically at major manufacturing hubs like Baoding and Tianjin, the brand has established a significant global manufacturing footprint. This includes full-process plants in Russia (Tula) and Thailand, as well as assembly operations in other emerging markets. This localized production strategy allows Haval to tailor its vehicles to regional requirements and reduce logistics costs.

Haval is wholly owned by Great Wall Motor (GWM), one of China's largest and most successful private automakers. GWM's strategic decision to split Haval into an independent brand allowed it to focus exclusively on the high-growth SUV segment, a move that solidified its market leadership. Today, Haval remains a key pillar of GWM's 'Global 2025' strategy, which aims for massive international sales growth and a transition toward new energy vehicles (NEVs).
