BiFi snack

BiFi is a well-known German brand of savory meat snacks, most famous for its small, smoked salami sausages. First introduced to the market in 1972 by Schafft Fleischwerke in Ansbach, Germany, the brand quickly became a staple in the European snack market. Its name is derived from the English adjective 'beefy'.

For several decades, BiFi was part of the Unilever portfolio. However, in 2014, Unilever sold its European meat snack business, including BiFi and the Peperami brand, to Jack Link's. Today, BiFi products continue to be manufactured primarily in Germany at the original production site in Ansbach. The brand remains a dominant force in the portable snack segment across Western Europe, particularly in Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, under the ownership of the American company Jack Link's.
