Today, Mentos is produced in several locations across the world, including manufacturing facilities in the Netherlands, Italy, China, and Brazil, to meet the demands of markets in over 130 countries. The brand is currently owned by the Italian-Dutch multinational corporation Perfetti Van Melle. This parent company was formed in 2001 following the merger of the Italian group Perfetti and the Dutch group Van Melle. It stands as one of the world's largest confectionery manufacturers, overseeing a vast portfolio that also includes brands like Chupa Chups and Airheads. The ultimate ownership remains headquartered between Italy and the Netherlands.
