Hardys wine

Hardys is one of Australia's oldest and most iconic wine brands, with a history dating back to 1853 when Thomas Hardy planted his first vines in South Australia. Over more than 170 years, the brand has grown into a global powerhouse, known for its diverse range of varietals ranging from entry-level table wines to premium flagship labels.

The brand is centered in the McLaren Vale and Riverland regions of Australia, where the bulk of its viticulture and production still takes place. While it started as a family-run business, the ownership has transitioned several times through major corporate acquisitions. Today, Hardys is the flagship brand of Accolade Wines, one of the world's largest wine companies. In early 2024, Accolade Wines underwent a significant ownership change, being acquired by a consortium of investors led by Bain Capital (Australian Wine Holdco Limited).
