ILIA Beauty is a multi-award-winning clean beauty brand founded by Sasha Plavsic in 2011. The brand was established with a focus on 'skincare-powered makeup,' blending high-performance formulas with conscious ingredients. In early 2022, ILIA was acquired by Famille C, the private investment firm of the Courtin-Clarins family, who are the owners of the Clarins Group. This strategic acquisition was designed to accelerate ILIA's global expansion while maintaining its core brand values. Despite being owned by a major European investment group, ILIA continues to operate largely as an independent entity, maintaining its headquarters in California to preserve its creative and innovation-led culture.
