Brouwerij 't IJ is a renowned Dutch craft brewery established in 1985 by Kasper Peterson. It is famously located in the former Funen bathhouse, right next to the De Gooyer windmill in Amsterdam. The brewery is a pioneer of the Dutch craft beer movement, known for its unfiltered and unpasteurized artisanal beers.

IJwit is one of their most popular flagship products, a full-bodied Amsterdam wheat beer brewed with coriander and lemon peel to give it a citrusy, spicy character. While the brewery started as an independent operation, it entered into a strategic partnership with Duvel Moortgat in 2015. This partnership allowed the brand to expand its distribution and production capacity while maintaining its unique local identity.

Today, the brand is owned by the Belgian brewing group Duvel Moortgat, which manages a prestigious portfolio of specialty beers. The brewing process takes place primarily at the original Amsterdam location for specialty batches and at larger facilities within the Duvel Moortgat network to meet international demand, keeping the manufacturing rooted in the Netherlands.
