OCB (Odet-Clérey-Bolloré) is one of the world's most iconic brands in the smoking accessories market. The brand originated in 1918 in Ergué-Gabéric, France, on the banks of the Odet river, which inspired the first letter of its acronym. For nearly a century, the brand was associated with the Bolloré family, specializing in ultra-thin rolling papers and high-quality filters.
In 2000, Republic Technologies, led by Don Levin, acquired the majority of OCB, eventually taking full ownership. Today, while the brand retains its deep French heritage, it is part of a global portfolio managed by Republic Technologies International. Manufacturing occurs across several specialist facilities in Europe, primarily in France and Austria, ensuring the quality and consistency travelers and consumers expect from the brand.
