The Memŏro label was created to celebrate the unification of Italy, blending grapes from four different regions: Primitivo from Puglia, Montepulciano from Abruzzo, Nero d'Avola from Sicily, and Merlot from Veneto. This 'Vino d'Italia' approach means the wine is produced and bottled in Italy using strictly domestic grapes. The brand continues to be owned and managed by the Piccini family through their corporate entity, Piccini 1882, maintaining its status as a leading representative of Italian viticulture.
