Solís Ketchup

Solís is a historic Spanish food brand, deeply rooted in the culinary tradition of Spain. It was originally founded in 1943 in Miajadas (Cáceres), where the primary factory remains today. The brand is particularly famous for its fried tomato sauce (Tomate Frito) and has expanded into other condiments like ketchup.

The Solís factory in Miajadas is a major hub for processing tomatoes grown in the Vegas del Guadiana region. Since the 1980s, the brand has been part of the Nestlé group. Nestlé, a Swiss multinational, has maintained the brand's local identity and production in Extremadura, emphasizing sustainable agriculture and local sourcing for its tomato products consumed in the Spanish market.
