Nesquik is one of the most iconic soluble cocoa brands in the world. Originally launched in the United States in 1948 as 'Nestlé Quik', it was designed as a powder to turn milk into a chocolate-flavored drink. Over the decades, it expanded globally, adopting the name Nesquik in Europe and eventually worldwide by 1999.
For the Spanish market and many parts of Europe, Nesquik is primarily manufactured in the Nestlé factory located in La Penilla de Cayón, Cantabria, Spain. This facility is a major production hub for cocoa-based products. Ownership remains under the Nestlé Group, the world's largest food and beverage company, which continues to manage the brand's profile and distribution across all continents.
