Kenco Millicano Original Instant Coffee

Kenco is a well-established coffee brand with a heritage dating back to 1923 when it was founded as the Kenya Coffee Company in London. Initially operating as a coffee shop and roastery, it rebranded to Kenco in 1962 to reflect the variety of coffee origins it sourced beyond Kenya. The Millicano range represents the brand's premium offering, blending instant coffee with finely milled whole beans for a 'barista-style' experience at home.

While the brand originated in the United Kingdom, its manufacturing and sourcing are truly international, drawing coffee beans from various global regions including Central and South America. Ownership has transitioned through major food conglomerates over the decades, moving from John Gardiner to Cadbury Schweppes, and later Kraft Foods (which became Mondelez International). Today, Kenco is part of the JDE Peet's portfolio, following the merger between D.E Master Blenders 1753 and the coffee division of Mondelez. JDE Peet's is headquartered in the Netherlands and remains one of the world's largest pure-play coffee and tea companies.
