Pringles is a globally recognized brand of potato and wheat-based stackable chips. Originally created by Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the United States in the 1960s, the brand was engineered to solve the problem of broken chips and air in bags.

In 2012, P&G sold the brand to Kellogg's (now Kellanova). Since then, Pringles have been produced in various facilities worldwide to serve regional markets, including major plants in Belgium for the European market, Poland, the United States, and Asia.

As of 2024, the brand is owned by Kellanova, the company formed following the spin-off of the Kellogg Company into two separate entities. Kellanova focuses on global snacking brands and remains headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
