D. Carnegie & Co. Porter is one of Sweden's most iconic and historic beer brands, originally founded in Gothenburg in 1836 by David Carnegie Jr. The brewery gained global recognition for its classic porter recipe, which remains a staple of Swedish brewing tradition.

Historically, the brand was a part of independent brewing operations in Sweden before being acquired during the consolidation of the industry. Today, the manufacturing primarily takes place at the Falkenberg brewery in Sweden. Since 2011, the brand has been under the ownership of Carlsberg Sweden, a subsidiary of the Danish multinational beverage company, Carlsberg Group. Despite the change in ownership, the brand maintains its legacy as a premium, historic Swedish ale.
