Stimorol Ice chewing gum

Stimorol is a prominent brand of chewing gum originally founded in Denmark. It was created by Holger Sørensen in 1915 and became one of the first sugar-free chewing gums on the market, gaining significant popularity across Europe, particularly in the Nordic countries and the Netherlands.

The brand has undergone several changes in ownership over the decades. Originally belonging to the Danish company Dandy, it was acquired by Cadbury-Schweppes in 2002. Later, Cadbury was purchased by Kraft Foods, which eventually spun off its snack division to form Mondelēz International. Most recently, as of late 2023, the European gum business of Mondelēz, including Stimorol, was sold to the Italian confectionery giant Perfetti Van Melle. Today, Perfetti Van Melle manages the brand's production and distribution globally, with significant manufacturing facilities located in Poland to serve the European market.
