Pringles is an iconic brand of potato and wheat-based stackable snacks known for its unique hyperbolic paraboloid shape and cylindrical canister. Originally developed by Procter & Gamble in the United States during the late 1960s, the brand was created to solve consumer complaints about broken chips and air in bags.
In 2012, Pringles was acquired by the Kellogg Company, which later split into two entities in 2023. The brand became part of Kellanova, the global snacking-focused successor. Currently, the brand is under the ultimate ownership of Mars, Incorporated, following their historic acquisition of Kellanova. For the European market, including Spain, production is largely concentrated in large-scale facilities located in Belgium and Poland to ensure efficient regional distribution.
