The brand is globally recognized for its signature Chambord French Press, which was inspired by the classic French coffee brewing method of the 1950s. While of Danish origin, the company's headquarters were moved to Switzerland in 1978 to better position its international growth. Today, Bodum remains a family-owned enterprise led by Pia and Jørgen Bodum.
