Malaco Djungelvrål is a famous Swedish salty liquorice confectionery known for its intensely salty taste and monkey-shaped gummy pieces. Originally launched in Sweden in 1982 by Malaco, the name translates to "Jungle Scream," a playful reference to the sharp initial saltiness that can provoke a strong reaction from consumers.

While the brand holds deep Swedish roots and a strong market presence throughout Scandinavia, contemporary manufacturing for many Cloetta products, including Djungelvrål, is often centralized in the company's facility in Levice, Slovakia. The brand underwent several ownership changes during the late 20th and early 21st centuries, eventually becoming part of the Swedish confectionery giant Cloetta AB following a merger with LEAF Holland. Today, it remains a flagship product within the Nordic candy market under Cloetta's management.
