LU Prince Chocolate Biscuits

Prince is a popular brand of biscuit sandwiches originating from France. Created by the Lefèvre-Utile (LU) company, which was founded in 1846 by Jean-Romain Lefèvre and Pauline-Isabelle Utile in Nantes, the brand is famous for its iconic prince character and chocolate-filled round biscuits.

While the brand was originally independent, it underwent several ownership changes through the 20th and 21st centuries. LU was acquired by Danone in 1986 and later sold to Kraft Foods in 2007. Following the corporate spin-off of Kraft's snack food business, the brand became part of Mondelēz International. Today, Prince biscuits are manufactured in several European locations, primarily in France and Belgium, to serve various international markets under the Mondelēz global portfolio.
