Nicorette is a leading brand in nicotine replacement therapy (NRT), designed to help individuals quit smoking by providing controlled doses of nicotine. The QuickMist product is an oral spray that was developed to offer fast-acting relief from cravings.
The brand originated in Sweden in the 1970s, where researchers at Leo Pharma developed the first nicotine chewing gum. Today, it is widely manufactured in Helsingborg, Sweden. Ownership of the brand has transitioned over the years. Originally a product of Leo Pharma, it was eventually acquired by Pfizer, then Johnson & Johnson. In 2023, Johnson & Johnson spun off its consumer health business into a new independent company called Kenvue, which now serves as the ultimate owner of the Nicorette brand globally.
