Galbani is one of Italy's most historic dairy brands, widely recognized as a global leader in the production of traditional Italian cheeses such as Mozzarella, Ricotta, Mascarpone, and Gorgonzola. Founded in 1882 by Egidio Galbani, the company began as a small creamery and eventually revolutionized the dairy industry with the introduction of 'Bel Paese' cheese in 1906.

While the brand maintains deep roots in Italian culinary tradition and continues to manufacture many of its flagship products in Italy, it has expanded its production footprint across Europe to meet international demand. In 2006, Galbani was acquired by the French multinational Lactalis, making it part of the world's largest dairy products group. Today, Galbani operates as a key subsidiary under the Lactalis umbrella, blending Italian heritage with extensive global distribution capabilities.
