Geisha is one of Fazer's most beloved brands, first introduced in 1962. The product was inspired by a Japanese-style cinnamon pastry (Japonica) that Peter Fazer enjoyed at a local bakery, which led to the creation of the signature hazelnut nougat filling combined with milk chocolate.
All Geisha chocolates are manufactured at Fazer's confectionery factory in Vantaa, Finland. The brand remains under the ownership of Fazer Group, a family-owned company that has grown into one of the largest food corporations in the Nordic region. Fazer prides itself on using 100% responsibly sourced cocoa across its entire production line.
