LibreOffice Writer software

LibreOffice Writer is a free and open-source word processor, part of the LibreOffice suite. Its development is based on the original OpenOffice.org code, following a fork by members of the community organized under The Document Foundation.

The brand and development are managed by The Document Foundation, based in Berlin, Germany.
