Kronan Original Snus

Kronan is a classic Swedish snus brand launched in 2005 as a value-oriented alternative that maintains high quality and traditional flavors. It is produced by Swedish Match, a company with deep roots in Swedish tobacco history dating back to the 19th century. Kronan is specifically manufactured in Sweden, typically at Swedish Match's production facilities in Gothenburg or Kungälv, following strict food-grade standards known as GothiaTek.

In recent years, the ownership of the brand has undergone a significant shift. Swedish Match, the original creator and long-time owner, was acquired by the American multinational Philip Morris International (PMI) in late 2022. As of 2024 and beyond, Kronan is part of PMI's global portfolio as they expand their presence in the smoke-free product market. Despite the American ownership, the brand remains authentically Swedish in its production and heritage.
