Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) is the contemporary streetwear division of the legendary American workwear brand Carhartt. While the parent company was founded in Detroit in 1889 to create durable uniforms for railroad workers, the WIP label was established in the late 1980s by Swiss designers Edwin and Salomée Faeh.
