Campo Viejo Rioja Rosé

Campo Viejo is a prestigious Spanish wine brand with roots dating back to 1959. It was founded in the renowned Rioja wine region by two winemakers, José Ortigüela and Bernardo Beristain. The brand has grown to become the world leading Rioja wine, known for its expression of the Rioja terroir through vibrant and contemporary winemaking styles.

The wine is produced and bottled in Logroño, Spain, at the Bodegas Campo Viejo winery. This state-of-the-art facility is celebrated for its sustainable architecture and environmentally friendly practices. All production stages, from grape harvesting in the Rioja DOCa to aging and bottling, take place within this Spanish region.

While originally founded as a Spanish entity, Campo Viejo is currently owned by the French wine and spirits giant Pernod Ricard. The ownership transition occurred through various acquisitions, notably with Pernod Ricard's purchase of Allied Domecq in 2005. Today, it operates under the Pernod Ricard Winemakers division, maintaining its status as a flagship brand for Spanish viticulture within a global distribution network.
