Arnott's Scotch Finger biscuits

Arnott's Scotch Finger biscuits are an iconic staple of Australian pantry shelves. Originally established by William Arnott in Newcastle, New South Wales, in 1865, the brand grew to become one of the largest food companies in the Asia-Pacific region. These particular biscuits are famous for their melt-in-the-mouth texture and unique snap-half design.

While the brand remains deeply rooted in Australian heritage and continues to manufacture the vast majority of its products locally in facilities such as its Huntingwood bakery in Sydney, its ownership has transitioned to international investment firms. Following a long period of ownership by the American firm Campbell Soup Company, Arnott's was acquired in 2019 by global investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR).

Today, Arnott's operates under the corporate umbrella of The Arnott's Group. While the ultimate parent company is headquartered in the United States, the brand maintains its headquarters and primary manufacturing operations within Australia, continuing to use mostly Australian-grown ingredients.
