Volvo V40 Cross Country

The Volvo V40 Cross Country is a ruggedized, luxury compact car variant originally introduced by Volvo Cars in 2012. It was designed to offer a more adventurous aesthetic and higher ground clearance than the standard V40 hatchback, fitting into the Volvo 'Cross Country' legacy that began in the late 1990s.

While Volvo is a storied Swedish brand founded in Gothenburg, the production of the V40 series predominantly took place at the Volvo Car Gent plant in Belgium. This facility was the primary hub for this specific model until its production ended around 2019. Despite the end of manufacturing, it remains a popular vehicle in the secondary market worldwide.
