Tripadvisor is a globally recognized online travel platform that provides user-generated content, reviews, and booking services. Founded in February 2000, it has evolved from a small startup into one of the largest travel guidance companies in the world.

While the platform was originally created by Stephen Kaufer, Langley Steinert, Nick Shanny, and Thomas Palka, it has undergone several ownership changes, including being acquired by IAC/InterActiveCorp and later spun off. Today, it operates as an independent publicly traded company headquartered in the United States.

As a digital service provider, Tripadvisor does not have a traditional 'manufacturing' site but maintains a vast global infrastructure through data centers and regional offices located in various countries to support its extensive network of travel reviews and services.
