Bähncke Chili Mayo

Bähncke is a historic Danish brand with roots dating back to 1858, originally founded in Kiel by Wilhelm Bähncke and later established in Copenhagen. Known initially for its mustard, it has grown into a staple of the Danish ‘pølsevogn’ (hot dog stand) culture and a household name for various condiments.

The Chili Mayo is manufactured in Denmark at Bähncke's production facilities. The brand is currently owned by the Norwegian conglomerate Orkla, following several ownership changes over the decades. Orkla is a leading supplier of branded consumer goods to the grocery, out-of-home, and bakery sectors in the Nordics and Baltics.
