Guylian Love Praliné Hearts

Guylian is a world-renowned Belgian chocolatier, most famous for its sea shell-shaped chocolates. Founded in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, in 1958 by Guy Foubert, the brand name is a portmanteau of the founder’s name, Guy, and his wife’s name, Liliane.

Today, the product seen in the image, the 'Love Praliné Hearts', continues the tradition of using Guylian's signature hazelnut praliné filling, which is still produced in-house using traditional copper kettles. All Guylian chocolates are manufactured at their facility in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, ensuring they maintain the 'Premium Belgian Chocolate' designation.

In 2008, the company was acquired by Lotte Confectionery, a division of the Lotte Group based in Seoul, South Korea. Under Lotte's ownership, Guylian has focused on global expansion and sustainable practices, including achieving 100% Fairtrade certification for their cocoa supply chain, which is visible on the product packaging.
