The water is bottled at the source from the Boario Springs, which has a long history dating back to the 18th century as a destination for health and spa treatments.

Currently, the brand is owned and managed by Ferrarelle Società Benefit S.p.A., a prominent Italian beverage company. Ferrarelle acquired the water division from Danone in the early 2000s, returning the brand to Italian ownership. The manufacturing process remains centered in the original location in the Lombardy region, ensuring the preservation of the water's natural mineral properties while adhering to modern sustainable business practices under its 'Società Benefit' (Benefit Corporation) status.
