The ESN Designer Protein Bar is a high-protein snack produced by the German brand ESN (Elite Sports Nutrients). Since its founding, ESN has grown into a leading sports nutrition brand in Europe, known for its focus on quality raw materials and internal production standards.

The brand was originally founded by Fitmart GmbH & Co. KG. In late 2020, CVC Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in ESN as part of a strategic merger involving the private equity firm's investment in the sports nutrition sector. Today, ESN operates under the umbrella of The Quality Group GmbH, which manages a portfolio of health and fitness brands. Most ESN products are manufactured in-house or in specialized facilities within Germany to ensure stringent quality control.
