Crème Bonjour cream cheese

Crème Bonjour is a well-known brand of flavored cream cheese and dairy spreads that originated in Sweden. The brand was originally created by the Swedish margarine and dairy company Margarinbolaget, which later became part of the Unilever portfolio. It gained popularity for its rich texture and diverse range of savory and sweet flavors.

In 2017, Unilever agreed to sell its global spreads business to KKR, a private equity firm, as part of an effort to focus on other high-growth sectors. This sale included the Crème Bonjour brand. Since 2018, the brand has been owned and operated by Upfield, the company formed following that divestment. Upfield is headquartered in the Netherlands and is recognized as a global leader in plant-based and dairy spreads. Manufacturing occurs in several European facilities to serve local markets in Scandinavia and Central Europe.
