Production was subsequently moved to a modern facility in Riga, Latvia, though some specific lines may vary by product batches sourced within the Nordics and Baltics.

The brand is currently owned by Orkla, a Norwegian conglomerate that acquired the company. Within the Orkla structure, Göteborgs Kex is often managed alongside other snack brands like OLW, which is why both logos appear on this specific packaging for 'Saltade' crackers, reflecting a co-branding strategy for the Swedish market.
