Woolpower is a renowned Swedish brand specializing in thermal undergarments and socks made from merino wool. The brand originated in Östersund, Sweden, in 1969, initially under the name Ullfrotté. It is widely recognized for its unique 'Ullfrotté Original' material, developed in collaboration with the Swedish military to provide superior insulation and moisture management.

Every Woolpower garment is produced in their own factory in Östersund, from the initial circular knitting of the fabric to the final sewing. A hallmark of their manufacturing process is that each individual seamstress signs the garment they have produced with a name tag, ensuring quality and accountability. The brand is currently owned by Ekstigen AB, a family-owned holding company based in Sweden that focuses on long-term ownership of Swedish industrial companies.
