Gram Refrigerator

Gram is a venerable Danish brand with a history dating back to 1901 when Hans Gram founded a small machine shop in Vojens, Denmark. Initially focused on refrigeration for the dairy industry, it eventually became a household name across Scandinavia for refrigerators and freezers known for their classic design and reliability. Although it originated as a family-owned Danish enterprise, the consumer household division was acquired in 2001 by the Polish company Amica S.A.

Today, while Gram maintains its historical roots and product development focus for the Nordic market, the manufacturing has shifted from Denmark to Amica’s large-scale production facilities, primarily in Wronki, Poland, and through sourcing partners in Asia. The brand remains a key player in Northern Europe, offering a wide range of kitchen appliances under the stewardship of its Polish parent company.
