Clesa vanilla yogurt

Clesa is a historic Spanish dairy brand originally founded in Burgos in 1943 by the architect and entrepreneur Luis Calvo Sotelo. The name is an acronym for Centrales Lecheras Españolas, S.A. Throughout its history, the brand became a household name in Spain, particularly known for its yogurts and desserts like the iconic 'Crema de Chocolate'.

After facing financial difficulties under the ownership of the Nueva Rumasa group in the early 2010s, the brand was rescued. Since 2012, Clesa has been owned and operated by the Agrupación de Cooperativas Lácteas (CLUN), a major Galician dairy cooperative. Today, the production is primarily concentrated in its factory located in Caldas de Reis, Pontevedra, where it continues to produce a wide range of dairy products focusing on regional proximity and quality.
