Buitoni 16 Obleas

Buitoni is a historic Italian brand founded in 1827 by Giulia Buitoni in Sansepolcro, Italy. It became famous for its pasta and dough products. While originally an independent family business, it was acquired by the Swiss multinational Nestlé in 1988.

In the Spanish market, Buitoni 'obleas' (pastry wafers for empanadillas) are a staple product. In 2021, Nestlé sold several of its Buitoni brand segments in Europe. In Spain, many of the dough and pizza businesses were transitioned under the ownership of Casa Tarradellas or other partnerships, but the brand name remains highly visible.
