MER päron

MER is a well-known Swedish brand of non-carbonated fruit drinks that first emerged in the market in 1962. Originally created by the Swedish company Bjäre Industrier in Kristianstad, the brand quickly became a household name in Scandinavia for its refreshing still fruit beverages, of which the pear (päron) flavor is a classic staple.

Today, the brand is owned by The Coca-Cola Company, which acquired it through its subsidiary in the late 1990s. While the ownership is American, the production remains localized; MER is primarily brewed and bottled at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners' facility in Jordbro, just south of Stockholm, Sweden. This blend of local heritage and global distribution power has allowed MER to maintain its status as a leading non-carbonated drink choice in the Nordic region.
