Today, Marabou is owned by the American multinational conglomerate Mondelez International. While the traditional milk chocolate bars are still prominently manufactured in the factory in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, specialty products like 'Choco Moment' wafers are often produced in other European facilities within the Mondelez supply chain, making the manufacturing country vary by specific product line. Mondelez International continues to manage the brand as a key player in the Nordic confectionery market.
