Heinz Lentil Soup is a staple product from the world-renowned H.J. Heinz Company, which was established in 1869 in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania, USA. Famous for its '57 Varieties' slogan, the brand initially specialized in horseradish before expanding into its iconic ketchup and canned soups.

Today, while the brand's heritage is deeply American, most Heinz canned soups sold in the European and UK markets are manufactured at the Kitt Green factory in Wigan, England. This facility is one of the largest food processing plants in the world, producing millions of cans annually. Ownership of the brand shifted significantly in 2015 when the H.J.
