Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certification

Oeko-Tex represents a globally recognized independent testing and certification system for textile products. Launched in 1992, the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 label ensures that every component of an article, from the thread to the buttons and linings, has been tested for harmful substances and is harmless in human ecological terms.

While the association is headquartered in Switzerland, it operates through a network of 17 neutral testing and research institutes worldwide. The certification is not a brand of clothing itself but a safety mark applied to products manufactured in various countries across the globe. It is managed by the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile and Leather Ecology.
