AL-KO Power Tools and Garden Equipment

Founded in 1931 in Bavaria, AL-KO (Alois Kober) began as a small locksmith shop and evolved into a global leader in garden equipment and vehicle technology. Over the decades, the brand gained a strong reputation for German engineering excellence, particularly in lawn mowers and soil cultivation tools.

In 2014, the AL-KO Gardentech division was restructured following the merger with Solo Kleinmotoren, and later, the brand came under the umbrella of the AL-KO SE (now Primepulse SE). Today, the brand is part of the AL-KO Gardentech group, which is a key player in the household and garden market. Manufacturing is distributed across specialized facilities in Germany and Austria for high-end components, with additional production lines in Asia to serve global markets.
