Bacardi Breezer, often simply referred to as Breezer, is a world-renowned fruit-based alcopop. It was first introduced by Bacardi in the late 1980s, effectively pioneering the ready-to-drink (RTD) category by offering a pre-mixed cocktail experience that blends rum with fruit juices and carbonated water.
While the brand originated in Bermuda/Puerto Rico through the Bacardi family, manufacturing is now decentralized to meet global demand. Depending on the market, it is produced in several locations across Europe, India, and the Americas. The brand is owned by Bacardi Limited, the largest privately held, family-owned spirits company in the world. Bacardi has maintained its independence since its founding in Cuba in 1862, eventually moving its headquarters to Hamilton, Bermuda, following the Cuban Revolution.
