Ahava is a renowned Israeli skincare brand founded in 1988, specializing in products derived from the nutrient-rich minerals of the Dead Sea. The brand was originally established by Dead Sea Laboratories, a company formed through the partnership of three kibbutzim (Mitzpe Shalem, Kalya, and Ein Gedi) to develop and market cosmetic products based on the local environment.

While the brand maintains its distinct identity and primary manufacturing operations in Israel—specifically near the Dead Sea—its ownership has transitioned significantly over the years. In 2016, the Chinese conglomerate Fosun International, through its subsidiary Fosun Fashion Group (now known as Lanvin Group), acquired Ahava. Under this ownership, the brand has expanded its global reach to more than 30 countries, continuing to leverage its heritage as the only cosmetic company with facilities physically located on the shores of the Dead Sea.
