Power Cigarettes

Power is a value-oriented cigarette brand widely available in the German market. It was originally developed as a discount brand for retailers. The brand is managed by VERITAS Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH, a Hamburg-based subsidiary of the EDEKA Group, which handles the distribution and branding for EDEKA's private label tobacco products.

The manufacturing of Power cigarettes is contracted to Reemtsma Cigarettenfabriken GmbH, which is the German arm of the British multinational Imperial Brands PLC. Historically, these cigarettes have been produced at Reemtsma's facility in Langenhagen, Germany. However, following strategic shifts in 2025 and 2026, manufacturing has transitioned within Imperial Brands' global production network as the Langenhagen site prepared for closure. The brand continues to be a staple in the low-price segment of the German tobacco market.
